Frequently Asked Questions
- Is there an age restriction? Yes – until 8pm daily, 12 and up are allowed to participate. Children aged 12-17 must have a parent or guardian present. After 8pm, the Depot only allows patrons over the age of 18.
- How much does it cost? Thursdays and Sundays – $15 per person per hour. Friday and Saturday – $20 per person per hour. The hour starts after the safety briefing and demonstration. Pool and shuffleboard are $8 per hour. Darts and cornhole are free anytime we are open.
- Do you take reservations? We do take reservations for groups of 6 or more, you’ll just need to call and book your time. Without reservations, on Friday and Saturday, there may be a short wait time after 8pm. You can get on the waitlist when you arrive in the facility.
- Do you have food and drinks? We do not have food, but offer a full bar, draft beer, and sodas. You are welcome to bring in food.
- Is there a limit on drinking alcoholic beverages while throwing axes? Yes, 2 drinks maximum during the hour of throwing. If you appear intoxicated, you will not be allowed to throw.
- Do you have other games besides axe throwing? Yes, we have pool, shuffleboard, darts, and cornhole.
- Can I bring my own axe? Yes, as long as it meets the restrictions. 12”-19” long, 4” max blade, 3 pounds or less.
- Do you offer a military discount? No, but we CERTAINLY welcome members of the military. We’re the least expensive option for axe throwing within 100 miles of Wichita Falls!
- Do you offer group rates? Only in the case of reserved private parties.
- Do you host private parties, team building events, etc.? Yes, please see our event page on our website for details and pricing.
- How many people to a target? We will place up to 4 people in the same group on the same target.
- Do I have to wear closed toed shoes? Yes. Closed toed shoes are required.
- Do I have to sign a waiver? Yes, all participants must sign a waiver and it is good for 2 years.
- Do you keep our waiver on file? Yes, we can look it up if you signed one digitally in the previous 2 years.
- Are you affiliated with the World Axe Throwing League (WATL)? No, not at this time.
- Do you have leagues? No, not at this time.
